Max Nevel

Max is a certified personal trainer through the American Council on Exercise and has worked with a large variety of clients ranging from college athletes looking to improve their game to seniors who would love nothing more than to keep up with their grandchildren. In his own fitness journey he enjoys lifting heavy weights, mobility training, running, and unlocking new calisthenics skills.

Max’s background in gymnastics, pole vaulting, and rock climbing inspired his appreciation for body mechanics, joint positioning, and injury prevention and management early on in his lifetime. He believes that fitness is one of the core pillars of both physical and mental health and that everyone deserves to move effortlessly through life — pain free, strong, and resilient. He focuses on postural awareness, movement optimism, and personalized strength and mobility benchmarks with his clients. He also sets himself apart from many trainers by working with clients on other facets of their lives such as stress management and sleep and dietary habits, as well as helping them balance work, fitness, and social engagements.
